Our Programs

Members Meet:
The Friends of the American Canyon Library meet the fourth Thursday of each month, with exceptions for holidays, in the library’s community room at 6:30pm.

Book Wall:
The Friends of the American Canyon Library maintain an ongoing honor-based book sale located just to the left of the library entrance.  Available whenever the library is open to the public.

Used Book Sales:
Used Book Sales are held quarterly in February, May, August and October to sell duplicate or donated items from all media types (fiction, non-fiction, reference, textbooks, dvds) and across all ages groups: children’s, young adult, and adult.  Book sales are open to the public after members-only preview sales.

Summer Reading Program:
A wonderful way to encourage kids to read during the summer school break, the American Canyon Summer Reading Program is funded by the Friends of the American Canyon Library.

Crafternoons:
Fun and free craft events for the entire family on Saturday afternoons.  The projects include all the materials and are a great way to try your hand at a fun, new project.  This ongoing program is funded by the Friends of the American Canyon Library.

Fun and Useful Items for Sale:
Book Bags, Flash Drives and Ear Buds are all for sale at the front desk, provided by the Friends of the American Canyon Library.
